When we were snapping away capturing this weeks ASOS collection we got hooked on this navy floral slip dress and naturally styled it four ways. Now we are thinking about adding a new feature to our blog; the Four Ways to Wear post. What do yous think?

Hello girlies. We're back from our two week wonder round Las Vegas and Mexico. It really was a holiday of a lifetime and totally worth the many months of saving i.e many months of staying in and being tight with our pennies. For the first few days being back felt a bit strange,  like we was dreaming we we're home but its a new week and we feel heaps excited to be back on Annie and the Mannequins soil. Plus going away then coming back to autumn weather meant we were able to get excited -all over again- about our autumn winter wardrobes.

This week we are totally in love with the micro trend; Power Knits. We are loving statement knits in chunky fabrics, rich colours and all kinds patterns. The power knit is a chic easy way to instantly update your wardrobe ready for the cooler days. We're already feeling the crisp. Brrr. Thats why we instantly fell in love with this burgundy chunky number.

Here we have layered our knit over a gold studded collar blouse and teamed it with simple denim cut offs, high denier black tights and leather ankle riding boots to create a super wearable totally chic outfit. Doesn't it look so easy to wear yet super styled at the same time? We just love its easy chic. What do you all think?

Now we are home were hoping to get lots more outfit posts up and we have some exciting new A/W stock we are desperado to share. Our ASOS boutique will be revamped in no time so keep your peepers on the look out. Hope you all have had a fabulous two weeks in our absense.

3 Ways to Wear: The Chiffon Shift Blouse

Hi bloggers so sorry it has been a while since we last posted. We have been super busy launching our Annie and the Mannequins boutique on ASOS marketplace. Its all up and running and we have had such a warm welcome...more on ASOS marketplace in our next post :)

For today we have a '3 ways to wear' post which is from our current eBay collection. We have been doing heritage inspired collections for a few weeks now so wanted to interpret a new trend into our collection this week. We decided to do this seasons Autumn hues trend..where citrus summer brights have been enriched into a warmer deeper A/W colour palette. Have a look at the full Autumn hues collection HERE

One of our favourite pieces from this collection is this deep red floaty sleeveless shift blouse. It can be layered over a long sleeve peak collar blouse, worn alone tucked into a pencil skirt or left loose to create this seasons must have silhouette - the shift dress. This blouse has everything you would want in a blouse, its multi-functional, comes in an amazing chiffon material and its deep red colour is very covetable this A/W.

Rich Autumn Hues

For once we were hoping for a bad day, weather wise to capture another A/W look but you guessed it, the sun was out with its hat on. We were toasty in our Faux fur collars and A/W coats but really enjoyed our day. Its so lovely when we have the time and an extra body to get our pictures taken together. 

So for this A/W look we have teamed some rich hues with darker A/W pieces such as the snakeskin blouse, faux fur collar and over sized fedora hat to create a vintage bohemian glam looks. The 40's silhouette of the emerald dress and sheer snakeskin blouse teamed with a floaty midi makes for two day to night outfits.
