S/S PHOTO SHOOT - BEHIND THE SCENES

We have been heaps busy with our two summer photo shoots the last couple of weeks, we've not had a minute to update our blog. So we thought we would share with you some behind the scenes photos to show you some of what we have been up to :) We're just waiting on the final images being edited and we'll be able to show you all our gorgeous look book of Summer Vintage. 

We managed to secure our photo shoot at a gorgeous house....yes this is someone's house :O with over 500 acres to play with. So happy with the out come and can't wait to show you all.

This leopard print dress didn't need much styling as it makes a statement all by itself. 100% silk with contrasting animal print a combination perfectly portrayed in this dress. With its oversized collar and gold buttons people will definitely wonder where they can get themselves one....but here at Annie and the Mannequins the girl who purchases this will be the only lucky one swooning about in this dress :) What an added bonus :) All we added here was our loyal chunky chelsea boots, leather satchel bag and fedora hat for an effortlessly chic day look.

We have lots of new floral prints hitting our Annie and the Mannequins vintage boutique this week. The sun has been out for the last 2 days so we have summer on the brain. We love this dresses dark ditsy floral pattern and have contrasted the pattern with the lighter swirls of the waistcoat. The peach waistcoat is one of our favourite items from this weeks collection. Its fully beaded with wooden and pearl like beads. We just know it'll look super cute layered over anything.

LOTW: School Girl Chic

This weeks look of the week is this gorgeous school girl-esque outfit combo. This short sleeve blouse with cutesy mini floral pattern and peak collar has been buttoned right to the top and teamed with a burgundy pleated mini.  Instantly spelling out school girl. But -hopefully you agree- in a chic and fashionable way. We've finished it off with a faux leather tan bucket school bag and gold old school casio watch to add some cutesy charm.

We found this gorgeous maxi floral wrap dress and instantly thought 'festival chic'. We've added some vintage crochet to the shoulders, styled it open with high waisted light wash denim shorts, black crop and chunky Chelsea boots to create a covetable festival look. We'll probably ditch the Chelsea boots for wellies though. Can you imagine swooning about in the sun with this floral number, listening to your favourite music with a floral head band to match. Super super cute.
