Its a Boy thing A/W ASOS Fashion Finder Competition

It might seem like summer has just arrived but this week we are already obsessing over all the A/W trends emerging from the catwalk. Our A/W wish list is as long as our arms already and we're getting super excited planning our A/W photoshoot for the Annie and the Mannequins website . This A/W we have fallen in love with the androgynous look and are injecting a serious does of 'girl meets boy' into this trend. Keep your lookers open for a sneak preview here.

In the mean time were getting ourselves in a frenzy over the exciting new competition over at ASOS fashion Finder.  View it here. They are looking for pictures of individuals sporting their favourite A/W catwalk trend. We have been playing about with looks and outfits and are now trying to choose our favourite picture. With the chance to be featured in ASOS magazine we realy hope we choose the best one to be in for the best chance of winning. What do you all think of these photos? 

We teamed this retro Dog tooth skirt, classic crisp shirt with razor sharp collar and neck tie with our pretty peach cardigan to create a teddy boy meets girlie girl look <3 To put our own spin on the androgynous boy-girl trend. :) Our camera ran out of battery at the time so not alot of pictures. More to come soon :)

Girl Meets Boy

Good Morning Bloggers. Quick outfit post today, it was rainy rainy yesterday but we still managed to make the most out of the light day with these outfit snaps. This retro Cool outfit does Girl meets boy perfectly with its uber cute charm. With the statement collar, billowing sleeves and denim combo it makes for a perfect summer outfit. Cornflower Blue denim with a crisp white touch provides a refreshing take on this summers pastel trend.

Poppy Burst

We found the perfect spot for our photos today, right behind our house so we took the opportunity to take a few outfit snaps. We picked up this gorgeous poppy orange blazer this weekend along with lots of other vintage goodies and cant wait to post them all on eBay for all our fans. We love to put together vintage outfits that reflect the seasons trends and we think we done ourselves proud with this outfit. What does everyone think?

Inspired byMarc Jacobs and  Jil Sanders citrus brights we teamed this blazer with our vintage high waisted nude shorts and stripey basic tee. Hope you all had a lovely weekend and have enjoyed our outfit post.

Candy can-do

Found this pastel peach jumper today and instantly fell in love. With it’s cutesy peach shade, rounded neckline and soft texture it quickly became a ‘must have’. We are big fans of the statement collar so decided to team this peach delight with one of our peak collar blouses. Paired with high waisted roll up denim shorts and ickle bobby socks its makes for the perfect summer ensemble. Hope you fall in love with this pretty peach jumper as much as we did. Looking forward to the weekend, hopefully pick up some vintage beauties.

Polka dot love

This is one of our favourite shoots of the week.

Gorgeous highwaisted polka dot shorts with a floaty, crisp white blouse and stricking Green blazer. The ultimate COCO CHIC day look.

We have also been featured on Chictopia and ASOS's Fashion finder Homepages with record views so we are very Happy Vintage Vixens.

Fields of Vintage

Hi fellow bloggers. Its so nice to be back, sorry we havent been blogging for a while. We have been heaps busy working on a new project that we are heaps excited to show you guys. We have also been busy doing our very first pop up shop. We got amazing feedback from our customers was so lovely seeing our customers face to face for a change, and are hoping to do another pop up shop soon. We will keep you updated.

Since were back on the blogging scene we thought we would share with you our favourite shoot of the week. We made the most of our gorgeous scenery behind our house and managed to capture some amazing pictures. What do you all think? These gorgeous pastel colours and chunky lace up boots give this vintage preppy skirt and shirt combo an 'on trend' overhaul.
